Judge’s Statement

This show was amazing making it a very difficult job to judge. You are all to be congratulated for having the courage to participate! 

As artists we are constantly driving to put our best effort and feelings into all our work. Producing art is a humbling ever evolving task. The process of making art is full of highs and lows for sure. But know that as artists, we are so lucky to see life through “artistic eyes”.

My criteria for judging were as follows:

-1st the creativity and sense of inventiveness’.

-2nd those pieces that were inventive and transcended clichés 

3rd artist ambition and risk taking
