Beth Carson will be demonstrating how to paint an eye using oil paint on a 3” x 3” wood circle. Some of the information she will share includes:

• Taking a photo in the right light at the right distance and how to crop it

• Sketching the eye

• Starting point for painting

• Mixing the colors

• Reading the reflections and shadows in the pupil

• List of materials used

Bio

Beth Carson is an oil painter and fiber artist working out of her home studio just outside of sunny Tampa, Fl. She is heavily influenced by nature as well as the small everyday moments in life that are sometimes so easily overlooked. She loves to tell a story through her creations and believe that one of a kind handmade art adds life and character to every home.
