In this fast-paced one day workshop, we will learn to start with a Notan sketch, make an underpainting, then use a system where we match colors to values by numbers and paint the scene in front of us in a new and colorful way. This concept is what “paint by numbers” is based on, and is a great exercise for plein air painters.“Value does all the work, color gets all the credit!”
