Celebrate the Bay Area Art Exhibit Awards. Juror Lynn Whitelaw will describe how he chose the exhibit and selected each of the awards, and we will also hear from each of the award winners, describing how they created each work of art. As part of the celebration of the 13th Annual Bay Area Art Exhibit and its award, TRA will be conducting a drawing for a chance to waive your member level entry fees in TRA’s exhibits from Mask-erade to June 2021, excluding Bay Area 14 and the 2021 Rembrandt.  Must be a member to be eligible to participate in drawing. Deadline to enter the giveaway is midnight of July 11th. You do not have to present at the meeting to win. We will notify the winner via email after the reception.

Donations are not required to enter, but a suggested donation would be $20, with a donation of $100 providing 6 entries.  The drawing will occur during the Bay Area Awards Reception on July 12 from 4PM to 6 PM.

As you know, Covid-19 has impacted the arts community greatly with the need for social distancing and closing down of events. TRA was no exception to this.  While we own our building, TRA still has expenses to operate the facility, including insurance, utilities, landscaping, etc. In lieu programming at our center, we have started offering virtual opportunities for exhibiting and classes to our artists via Zoom. But the financial impact was still strong on our health as an organization as it relies on classes and workshops as a primary source of revenue.

We need your help and donations. Please consider a suggested donation of $20 as apart of this mini-fundraiser so that we may continue to provide these opportunities to our beloved artists. Thank you and good luck!
